This book was highly engaging for my students. They enjoyed discovering the different ice sports and appreciated that the story highlighted activities for both boys and girls. The connection to a friend in our class made the story feel especially meaningful and exciting for them.
The creative layout of the text, appearing in shapes such as waves and circles, made the reading experience lively and interesting. The story itself was engaging and well-paced, with a length that kept the students’ attention from beginning to end.
The colourful pages and beautiful illustrations were very appealing, and the children absolutely loved it. The colouring page was also a wonderful addition that the students really enjoyed.
