I am Caitlin Bowers—a skating coach, children’s book author, and creator of handmade hair bows based in Chestermere, AB. I help skaters build confidence on the ice, write magical skating stories for children, and inspire creativity through handmade bows and DIY tutorials.

About Me/What I Do

With 17 years of coaching experience, I provide safe, supportive, and fun instruction for skaters of all ages. I hold provincial-level coaching certifications through the Coaching Association of Canada and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and I follow the highest standards for responsible coaching, including ethics, Safe Sport training, and comprehensive background checks.

My love of storytelling began while teaching my daughter to read. We spent hours exploring books with beautiful illustrations, which inspired me to write the stories we wished existed—full of magic, skating, imagination, and joy.

I also design and handcraft unique hair bows and share tutorials on my YouTube channel, helping others bring their creative ideas to life.

Whether on the ice, in a story, or through a craft, I’m passionate about teaching, creating, and inspiring others to explore their potential.
